Informations taken this Sixth
day of November 1790. at the Parish
of St. John Evangelist within the
Liberty of Westminster in the County
of Midsex upon and Inquisition
touching the death of Paul Endley
Becket

Parish Liberty [..] and County.

Anthony Lerra< no role > Nerraat No. 1. Vine Street in
the Parish of St John the Evangelist
Westmr. Coach [..] on his Oath saith, That yesterday
Evening between Eight & Nine o'Clock (being
the fifth day of November) Some Boys
had a Bonfire burning in Market Street
in the said Parish of St. John the Evangelist
Westmr. and on of the Boys having
some Squibs set them on fire, and
afterwards lighted some Serpents which
he threw among the People and one
of them happened to abight behind
a six Inch Cart Wheel which stored upright by
the side of a Henry MarkettheStreet aforesaid, Says
that the Deced Paul Endley Becket an [..]
Infant about the Age of twelve Years
and two other Boys were endeavouring
to get the Serpent from behind the Cart
wheel, when the wheel Accidentally
fell down upon the Deced's Head, when
the Deced reced a Fracture and Bruises
upon the Head of which the Deced died
in about Eight Minutes of he was carried to his Father House and Dept.
believes it to be merely Accidental
