Informations taken this fourteenth
day of June 1790 at the Parish of St.
James within the Liberty of Westmr.
in the County of Middlsex upon an
Inquisition touching the death
of Mary Steel< no role > lying dead in the said
Parish Liberty and County

Benjamin [..] Humpage< no role > of Harley Street
Surgeon on his Oath saith That on Wednesday
Morning last about two o' Clock June [..]
Dr. Rowley's Servant desired Dept. to go with
him immediately to his Masters House [..]
Savill Row in the Parish of St. James Westmr.
that Mr. Huber's Nurse [..] had out her Th [..]
Says that he went and saw Mary Steel< no role >
the Deced with a large Wound in her
Throat which he served up and took
proper care of her and the wound went
on in a very fair way, and Deced said
that she gave it to herself, Says that on
Friday last the Eleventh Instant in the
Evening Dept. was fetched to the Deced
who has [..] out of a Window as Dr
Rowley's House, upon which he went
to the Deced whose Back bone was very
much Bruised, the [..] pper part of the left
Thigh fracture & Bruised downwards
with a Wound, the left Leg [..] fractured
with a Wound, [..] the Right Leg & Thigh
[..] Bruised, Says that on talking
to the Deced, She said that she had [..]
herself out of the Window and that [..]
David had been with her and desired her
to do it. Says that the Deced died in
about twenty Minutes in consequence
of the Injury which she reced by the fall
but of the Window upon some Lead, and
believes that the Deced was Disordered
in his Senses.
