distracted on the fourth day of January in the year aforesaid one End
of a certain Piece of Cord unto an Iron Staple fastened in one of the
wooden Joysts in the Ceiling in the Lodging Room or Apartment of
him the said

within the Liberty and County aforesaid and the other and thereof about
his own neck did fit tie and fasten and therewith did then and there
hang suffocate and strangle himself of Which did then and there
