An Inquisition Indented, taken for our Sovereign Lord the
King at Tothill Fields Bridewell in the Parish of St. Margaret
within the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of the Collegiate Church of St. Peter, Westminster ,
in the County of Middlesex , the Sixth day of October in the twenty eighth
Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, by the Grace of God, of
Great-Britain, France and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, before Thomas
Prickard
< no role > , Gentleman, Coroner of our said Lord the King for the said City and Liberty, on
View of the Body of Ann Hadman< no role > then and there lying dead, upon
the Oath of William Lockie< no role > , William Stevens< no role > , John Cartwright< no role >
Lewis Sulsh< no role > , William Jordan< no role > , James Miller< no role >
Ernes Angustus Thisleton< no role > , John Stevenson< no role > , Robert Archer< no role >

William Atwood< no role > and John Robinson< no role > good and lawful Men of the said Liberty, duly
chosen, who being then and there duly sworn and charged to enquire for our said Lord the
King, when, how, and by what Means the said Ann Hadman came to
h er Death, do upon their Oath say That the said Ann Hadman being a
Prisoner in Tothill Fields Bridewell aforesaid in the said Parish
of Saint Margaret within the Liberty and County aforesaid on
the fifth day of October in the Year aforesaid at Tothill Fields
Bridewell aforesaid departed this Life by the Visitation of God in
a natural Way to wit of a fever and not otherwise

In Witness where of as well the
said Coroner as the said William Lockie< no role > Foreman of the
said Jurors on the behalf of himself and the rest of his
Fellows in their presence house to this Inquisition set their
Hands and Seals the Day Year and Place abovementioned.
