Richard Sams< no role > Servant to Mr. Mitchell
of Mill Bank Street Baker on his Oath
saith that William Clarke< no role > the Deced Worked
Yesterday Morning for Mr. Mitchell, That
he got so much in Liquor by two o Clock
as not to be able to Work any longer Says
that the Deced then lay down upon the
Floor in the Warehouse, from about two
o'Clock until about four o'Clock, when
Dept. and Bartholomew Potter< no role > lifted up the
Deced who could not stand, they therefore
in order to carry the Deced home Easier
put his Legs and lower part of his Body
in a Sack the Head and Arms being out
of the Sack Says that he carried the Deced
home in the Sack and laid him upon
his Bed, says that the Deced was not
ill used Yesterday to Depts. Knowledge
And says that the Deced was covered
with three Empty Sack but that Dept.
did not Cover him

Archdall Harris< no role > of Patan Yard Surgeon
on his Oath saith, That he this day Examined
the Body of William Clarke< no role > the Deced and
found no Marks of Violence whatever
thereupon, and therefore Dept. thinks that
the Deced died in a natural way
