Informations taken this thirty first
day of January 1786 at the Parish of
St. Ann within the Liberty of Westmr
in the County of Midsex upon an
Inquisition touching the death of
Elizabeth Collins< no role > lying dead in the
[..] Parish Liberty and County

Mary Ann Mc Donald< no role > Servant to William Marnham< no role >
of Newport Market in the Parish of St. Ann
Westminster Butcher , on her Oath saith
That she usually Slept with Elizabeth Collins< no role >
the Deced (who was likewise Servant to
Mr. Marnham) That they slept together
on Sunday Night last, and that a little
before six o'Clock on Monday Morning the
Thirtieth Instant the Deced got up and
Dressed himself and called up this Dept
and bid her go down Stairs which she
did, and Deced went up Stairs into the
Garret on Launder appearing to be in great Confusion
Says that [..] is Dept. was in the Cole hole
in about two Minutes after she went
down, heard something fall very heavy
into the Street, That one of the Man
came down and asked what the Noise
was, and immediately went out Creturold
saying that Betty had fallen off the House
upon which Dept. went out and saw the
Deced lying down in the Street before the
House, Bleeding from a Wound in the
Throat, the Deced not being able to speak
and died in a very few Minutes, Says
that a Penkinfe was found upon the
[..] house, which was open and Bloody
with which Dept. believes the Deced gave herself
the Wound in her Throat which was the cause
of her death, Says that the Deced came to
live in
