Informations taken this sixth
day of October 1785 at the Parish of
St. George Hanover Square within the
Liberty of Westminster in the County of
Middlesex upon on Inquisition touching
the death of Francis Sanders< no role > lying dead
in the said Parish Liberty and County.

John Jones< no role > Chapel Keeper of [..] the Row Chapel
in St. George's Squr in the Parish of St. George
Hanover Square , on his Oath saith that
Francis Sanders< no role > the Deced was this day
Painting on Door way at the Entrance of
the Hall adjoining to the said Chapel says
that the Deced was standing upon a Ladder
at the Height of about Eight feet, says that
he this Dept. was in the Room adjoining
when he heard a Noise in the Hall, and
said he was afraid the Man had follow down
and desired Mary Marley to go to see, who
said it was very true, and Dept. immediately
went and saw the Deced lying upon the
stone pave on out, Bleeding from the Nose
Mouth and Right Ear, says that the Deced
was unable to speak, or move himself, says
that Mr. Ryder a Surgeon was fetched who
Examined the Deced and, said that one
of the Vessels in the Brain was hurst and
Deced died in about half an hour, says that
there was no Person with Deced when he
fell off the Ladder and Dept. says that his
fall was merely Accidental John Jones< no role >
