Informations taken this Second
day of March 1785 at the Parish of
St. George Hanover Square within the
Liberty of Westminster in the County
of Midsex upon an Inquisition
touching the death of Frederick Haigh< no role >
lying dead in the said Parish Liberty
and County.

John Palmer< no role > at the Coach makers Arms Quebee Street in
the Parish of St. mary le bone in the County of
Midsex Shoemaker on his Oathsaith That
on Monday last the Twenty eighth day of February
about a Quarter after three in the afternoon
this Dept. was walking by the side of the
Serpentine River Hyde Park in the Parish
of St. George Hanover Square when to
saw the Deced Skeicting upon the Tee on
the Serpentine River Says that a large
Piece of the Tee was broken and Deced
fell there into the Water, and was there
Accidentally Drowned, Says that the Deced
was about twelve Yards or upwards from
the shore, and that no Person was near
the deced when he fell into the River
Says that the Deced was taken out of
the water in less than half an hour
appearing, to be dead was carried to St.
George's Hospital where every Means
were used for his Recovery, but without
Effect, the deced being dead, and Dept.
Says that he was Accidentally Drowned.
