Informations taken this fifth day of
June 1782 at the Parish of St. George Han [..]
Square within the Liberty of Westmr. in the
County of Midsex upon an Inquisition touching
the death of William Ross< no role > lying dead in
the said Parish Liberty and County.

Jubins Griffiths< no role > . House Surgeon at St. George Hospital
in the Parish of St. George Hanover Square Westmr. on
his Oath saith That on Saturday Morning last the
first Instant William Ross< no role > the Deced was brought
to said Hospital having a Wound from a Bullet
which had Entered the Right Breast passed through
the right Lobe of the Lungs and came out about
half an Inch above the Shoulder Bone, which
was the cause of the Deced's death, Says that Deced
Declared to Dept. in the Hospital (when he was
Sensible) that he was Sorry for what he had
done, and hoped God almighty would Settle
very things for him.

Parish of St. George Hanover Square on his Oath
saith That William Ross< no role > the Deced was Servant
to Michael Hamerton< no role > Esqr . who has lodged with
Dept. about six weeks, Says that on Saturday
Morning last Deponent being in his Shop and hearing
some thing fall above Stairs in Mr. Hamerton
Apartment upon which he went up Stairs and
in the Dining Room saw the Deced lying on
his Back upon the Floor, the Room Smelling
very strong of Gundowder, Says that there was
a Pistol upon the Floor near the Deceds fect
with the Room mer half Drawn, Says that he
