Informations taken this frist day of October
1781 at the Parish of St. George Hanr. Square
within the Liberty of Westmr. in the County
of Midsex upon an Inquisition touching
the death of a Man unknown lying said
in the said Parish Liberty and County

James Prizeman< no role > Servant to Mr. Baker
at the Neat Houses in the Parish of St. George
Hanover Square Gardner on his Oath
saith That Yesterday Morning (Septr. 30th.)
between Seven and Eight o'Clock this Dept.
was Riding his Master's House to Water
in the River Thames at the Neat Hous
aforesaid and saw the Deced lying on
the more there Drowned having been
left by the Water, the Tide then Ebbing,
Says that the Deced appeared to have been
long in the Water but Dept. observed
no Marks of violence upon the Body,
Says that he acquainted some of the
Neighbours there with and that the Body
was soon at carried to the Sign of the if
Spread Eagle there.
