Information taken this Twenty second
day of January 1781 at the Parish of St. John
the Evangelist within the Liberty of Westmr .
in the County of Middlesex upon an Inquisitn
touching the death of Elizabeth Troutwine< no role >
lying dead in the said Parish Liberty & County

Jane Sculthorp< no role > the Wife of James Sculthorpe< no role > of
Woodstreet in the Parish of St. John the Evangelist
Westmr. on her Oath saith, That Elizabeth Troutwine
the Deced was a Lodger on the First Floor in
Depts. Elonn, Says that the Deped on Saturday
Evening last, (the 20th. Instant) came into Depts. Room
saying that she was going out & leaving the
Key of her Room with Dept. That Deced accordingly
went out with her little Girl, and in about an
hour Dept. (who was Sick in Bed) heard the
Deced come in with her little Girl, & immedi
ately Dept. heard somebody fall down upon the
[..] Kitchin Stairs, and supposed it to be the Child
Says that she went out of her Room and the
Child said her Mammy had fallen down, upon
which Dept. called Mrs. Troutwine several
Times and had no [..] that heard her Rattle
