Informations taken this Twenty first day
of January 1775 at the Parish of St. Anne in
the Liberty of Westmr. in the County of Midsex
upon an Inquisition touching the death of
Hannah Oldroyde< no role > lying dead in the said Parish
Liberty and County.

Robert Hamilton< no role > Servant Shopman to Mr.
Hammond of Newport Street Chymist on his Oath
saith That either on Friday the 13th. or Saturday
the 14th. Instant a Young Woman came to Mr.
Hammond's Shop and asked for some Poison for
Rats saying that she lived in a House by the
Market, and that he might go to her Mistress
if she placed; upon which he Served her with
30th. of Corrosive Sublimate, which the Woman
took away with her.

Husey
< no role > of Gerard Street in the Parish of St. Anne
Westmr. Linnen Draper on her Oath saith, That she
has lived there about Eight months, and that
Hannah Oldroyde< no role > came into Mr. Husey's Service
about three months ago, Says that the Deced
have twice complained of not being well but
was not confined, Says that on Sunday last
(January 15th.) Deced came down Stairs in the
Afternoon into the Kitchin Vomiting and
appearing to be very ill but would not say
what she had done Says that Mr. Jones an
apothecary was fetched and that the Deced
then acknowledge her having taken some Poison,
and Dept. continued very ill. and died on
the 20th. Instant . Says that the Deced has at
times
