Informations taken this Eleventh day of March
1766 at the Parish of St. George Hanover Square
within the Liberty of Westmr. in the County of
Middlesex on an Inquisition touching the Death
of a Woman Unknown lying Dead in the said
Parish Liberty and County.

Edward Jones< no role > Beadle of the Parish of St. George Hanover
Square on her Oath saith That yesterday Morning about
Eight o'Clock a Man came to Depts. Lodging and informed Dept.
that a Woman lay drowned near the Spread Eagle on Mill Bank
and desired Dept. to come down, Says that he soon after went
down and on the Shore above the Spread Eagle on Mill Bank
found the Deced covered with a Matt, Says that the Deced
was then Dead, and Dept. was informed that she floated up
with the Tide on the River Thames , and that the Water
had left her there. And this Dept. says that he does not
know the Deced. nor has be observed any Marks of
violence upon the Deced.
