Informations taken this Third day of
January 1765 at Bridewell in the Parish
of St Margaret within the City and Liberty
of Westmr. in the County of Middlesex on an
Inquisition taken on New of the Body of
James Mc. Daniel< no role > a Prisoner there lying
Dead.

John Stephens< no role > Keeper of Bridewell on his Oath saith
that James Mc. Daniel< no role > the Deced was Committed to this
Prison as a Vagrant by William Keeling< no role > Esqr. on the
third day of December last, says that Deced has had
his Allowance of two pence anda penny worth of
Bread each day and two pence in Money from the 25 day of Dec last until the time of his Death, which
happened yesterday between Eleven and twelve
o Clock in the Forenoon, and Deponent believes
that the Deced died a natural Death.

Thomas Brine< no role > a Prisoner in Bridewell on his Oath
Saith that he has been a Prisoner there about three weeks
last past and that he found the Deced in the Prison when
he waswasfirst brought there, Says that the Deced was
then Sickly and complained of the Cold, Says that he
Deced usually eat the greatest part of his pennyworth
of Bread allowed by the Governor of the House each day Says that
the Deced likewise had two pence in Money each day for about a week last [..]
Says that the Deced continued ill, and died yesterday
Morning, & that Deced had eight pence than in his Pockets Says that he has not heard of any ill Usuge
that the Deced reced from the Keeper or his Servants
or any of his Fellow Prisoners, and Dept. believes that
Deced died a Natural Death
