Says that the piece of Timber being then too heavy
for Deponent and the two other Persons that the Timber rolled down and one
End of the said piece of Timber going upon the Belly
of the Deced, Deponent Says that he lifted up the Deced
upon his Logs, and Deced said that he was a Dead
Man, that the Timber had killed him, Says that
the Deced's Bolly soon changed Colour, and that Deced
was not able to Walk, Deponent says that he fetched
a Cart and Horses from Mr. Mears's Ford to carry the
Deced to the Westmr. Hospital, Says that the Deced was
put into the Cart, and Depont. came with Deced part of
the Way and left Mr. Collins, who is Mr. Mears's foreman
to go with the Deced into the Hospital, Says that
he called three days ofter upon the Deced art the said
Hospital and found him in great pain and unable
to move his Body, his Belly being Swelled and hard,
and Deced then said thatthe Timber had cut himhis inside was cut in two
Says that the piece of Timber is of the [..] [..] of four feet
and is the Property of Mr. Pope of the Horse Ferry Rood
Wheelwright .
