William Hunter< no role > in the Rubbish, say that he was Dead
and very much bruised upon the Head, saw that said
Hunter was carried by two Chairmen upon a Horse
to the Parish Workhouse (as he believes) Deponent says
that said Mary Anderson< no role > , and Sophia (whose other Name
Deponent knows not) were likewise taken away by
Chairmen upon their Horse, to said Workhouse, as he
Workbelieves, and says that he this day viewed their
three Bodies in said Workhouse.

Matthw: Told< no role >

Merryman Smith< no role > a Lodger in the Cellar in the House with
Matthew Told< no role > , Coachman , on his Oath saith, That on Monday
last about Noon Deponent had some Mutton boiling for his
Dinner, says that some Bricks fell down the Chimney into
the Pot, says that he observed at the some time some part
of the Foundation of said House backwards, and also the Party
Wall give way, Says tha he thereupon went to Mr. Spence the
Owner of said House and acquainted him therewith, says that
Mr. Spence immediately came there and put up two Drops,
one to the Chimney, and the other to the back Front ofsaid
said House which he (Mr. Spence) said would be sufficient.
Deponent says that between Eleven and twelve o'Clock
on Monday Night last, he heard some Bricks fall down the
Chimney, upon which Deponent immediately got out of
Bed and dressed himself, says that before he could get
up Stairs, the said House and the House Adjoyning in
said court fell down backwords, but that Deponent was
not hurt, Deponent says that he assisted in Digging the
Rubbish, and between one & two next Morning discovered
Sophia (who Sir name Deponent knows not) in the Ruins
of the House adjoyning to that the Dept. lodged in, which was
likewise fallen down, says that she was Dead, Says that
he afterward Discovered in the Ruins Mary Anderson< no role >
who was likewise Dead, Says thataboutbetween ten
and Eleven o'Clock next Morning, Deponent and the
other Persons in Digging found said William Hunter< no role >

in the Ruins, and that he was Dead and very much br [..]
upon the Head and right Thigh, and says that the Body
of said Sophia, (whose other Name Deponent knows not)
said Mary Anderson< no role > and said William Hunter< no role > were
severally carried by Chairmen upon their Horse to the
Workhouse belonging to said Parish
