Mary Ann Bright< no role > fellow Servant with the said
Ann Berry< no role > on her Oath Saith that last Saturday
Morning Dept. went into the Yard of her Masters
House in Order to empty some water in the Sink near
the Collar there, says that Cooking into the Collar
she saw the watchman (meaning the deced) who was
employed in cleaning the Knives and Shoes by her Masters
Kneeling in the Collar upon which immediately
without emptying the watch Dept. can back into the
Kitchen and acquainted Ann Berry< no role > therewith,upon
who went directly into the Collar, where she staid
some Minutes and on her Return, acquainted Dept.
that the Watchman had hanged himself, and that she
had cut beck down, says she Fetched Mr. Maul
an Apothecary in order to blood the deced, who came
with Dept. but she was not by when he attempted
to bleed the deced. but heard the Apothecary say the
deced was dead

Francis Stocking< no role > at the two Brewors in German
street Victualer on his Oath Saith that the deced
lodged with Dept. about three years before last Mistus
says that about twelve Months ago at different times
the deced informed Dept. that he had reced an Injury
in his Forehead by a Coach wheel going over his Forehi [..]
and Dept. observed that out of deceds Eyes appeared less
than the other, and Deced informed Dept. that he were
had found himself right since that Accident says he
has frequently heard the deced talking to himself, and
he appeared to Deponent to be of a very melancholy
Disposition but Dept. knows nothing of his Circumstance

Joseph Smith< no role > Lodging at said Francis Stockens< no role >
House in his Oath Saith that the has been acquaint
with the deced about two years and an half, and had
frequent Conversation with him says he appeared
to Dept. to be a Man out of his mind, and threatened
often to make away with himself says that about
two years next may be found the deced with a Cord
round his heck fastned to the Banisters of Mr. Stockey
House attempting to hang himself, but deced rutied the
Cord and prevented it. says the deced frequently told Deft
that he was not himself, and if he was not taken care of
he should destroy himself.
