in the County of Middlesex }
to Wit.

An Inquisition Indented taken for Our Sovereign Lord the King
at the Parish of Saint Mararetin the City of Westminster , within the Liberty of the Dean
and Chapter of the Collegiat Church of St. Peter Westminster in the County of Middlesex , the First
day of November, in the Third Year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the
grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth, before
Thomas Prickard< no role > Gentleman, Coroner of our said Lord the King for the said City and Liberty,
on View of the Body of Jane White< no role > then and there lying Dead, upon the Oath of
Edward Pestell< no role > , Isaac Hooley< no role > , John Young< no role > , Charles Evitt< no role > , Richard White< no role > , Daniel
Baston
< no role > , Nathaniel Gunn< no role > , Samuel Vaughan< no role > John Finlason< no role > , Samuel Tyler< no role > , Reynol
Toms

good and Lawful Men of the said City and Liberty duly Chosen, and who being then and there
duly Sworn and charged to inquire for Our said Lord the King, when, how, and by what means, the said
Jane White< no role > came to her Death, do upon their Oath say, That Richard Bellamy< no role > late of the parish
of St Margaret within the Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex Gentleman, on the twenty sixth day of October in the
said third year of the Reign of our said Lord the King with Force and Arms at the Parish aforesaid within the Liberty
aforesaid in the County aforesaid, in and upon one Jane White< no role > Widow in the Peace of God and Our said Lord the King then
and there being feloniously did make an Assault And that the said Richard Bellamy< no role > a certain Stone of no Value which he the
said Richard Bellamy< no role > in his right hand had and held at and against the said Jane White< no role > , then and there feloniously and
violently did cast and throw And that the said Richard Bellamy her the said Jane White< no role > with the Stone aforesaid
in and upon the left side of the Head of the said Jane White< no role > then and there feleniously did Strike and hit Giving to her the said
Jane White< no role > Then and there with the Stone aforesaid one Mortal Bruise in and upon the said leftside of the Head of the said Jane White< no role >
Of which said Mortal Bruise she the said Jane White< no role > from the said Twenty sixth day of October in the Year aforesaid until the
thirtieth day of the same Month of October in the same Year at the Parish aforesaid within the said Liberty and County
did languish and languishing did live On which said thirtieth day of October in the year aforesaid the said Jane White< no role >
at the Parish aforesaid within the Liberty aforesaid in the County aforesaid of the said Mortal Bruise did Dye And so the
Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say that the said Richard Bellamy< no role > her the said Jane White< no role >
in manner and form aforesaid feloniously did Kill and Slay against the Peace of Our said Lord the King
his Crown and Dignity And that the said Richard Bellamy< no role > at the time of Committing the Felony and
Manslaughter aforesaid or at any time since had no Goods or Chattels Lands or Tenements to the
Knowledge of the said Jurors. In Witness whereof as well the said Coroner as the said Edward
Pestell
< no role > Foreman of the said Jurors, on the behalf of himself and the rest of his said Fellows, in their presence,
have to this Inquistion set their Hands and Seals the Day Year and Place first abovementioned.
