Informations taken this 20th day April 1762
at the parish of Saint Martin in the Fields within
the Liberty of Westmr. on View of the Body of
Jeremiah Flarty< no role > an Infant about the age of four yrs.
then and there lying dead.

William Carter< no role > of Kings Sheet St. Giles's
pipe maker on his Oath Saith that last Saturday
in the afternoon; he was at work in pipe makers
alley St. Martins where there is a publick Vault
or Necessary for the use of the Inhabitants there
and on hearing that a Child had fallen down it
he went in order to a frist in getting the Child out,
says be broke open the Seat and found it in possible
to get down says that afterwards be tow up the pasement
and the Boards be longing to the Vault which lay
under it, and then put a Ladder down, and a
shanger to Dept. ship himself and went in
and brought out a Child, which proved to be
deced Mr. Morgan Flarty< no role > 's Son, and was then dead
says seen that soon after a Surgeon came to bleed
the deced but he did not bleed; says that from the
time of the alarm that the Child was in the Vault
to the time of getting him out he believes were
about fifteen minutes, says that in the said Necessary
there was a be Conveniency for Children in Which
be believed the deced fell as the other was above
the reach of a Child of deceds Age,
