At the General Quarter Session
of the Peace of our Lord the King holden
at the Guild hall in King Street Westminster
on Thursday the sixth day of July in
the thiry seventh year of our sovereign
Lord George the Third ing of Great
Britain Etc.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of Saint Martin in the Fields have at this present
session of the Peace exhibited and filed an Order of Adjudication
under the hands and seals of Nicholas Bond< no role > and John Hunter< no role >
Esquires Two of His Majestys Justices of the Peace in and for
the said City and liberty (one whereof being of the Quorum)
against Michael Clency< no role > for begetting on the Body of Mary
Kalins a Male Bastard Child which Bastard Child is
chargeable to the said Parish It is Ordered by the Court
that the said Order of the said Two Justices be Confirmed and
that the said Michael Clency do abide the said Order of
Adjudication and do pay or cause to be paid unto the said
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish
or some or one of them the sum of Ten Pounds Fifteen
Shillings and six Pence for and towards the Maintenance
of the said Bastard Child and It is further Ordered
that the said Michael Clency do likewise pay or Cause to
be paid to the said Churchwardens and Overseers of the said
Parish the further sum of Two shillings Weekly and every Week
for and towards the keeping Maintenance and sustentation of
the said Bastard Child so long as the said Bastard Child shall
be chargeable to the said Parish of Saint Martin in the Fields
