the above named Defendant
maketh Oath and saith that on the twenty first day
October last being the then Sessionforof the Peace
for the Liberty of Westminster
which commenced
on the Nineteenth of the said Month he this
Deponent gave Bail in the above Matter to
appear at the then next Session to be holden
for the said Liberty and then and there to try
the Traverse of the Indictment found against
him And this Deponent further saith that
havg. been informed that the Sessions holden for
the said Liberty was Quarterly and believing
from such Information that the then next
Sessions would not commence until the
Nineteenth day of the present Month of
January he this Deponent did not make
further enquiry respecting said Session till
yesterday Morning when to his great Surprize
he was informed that the Session had commenced
as on that day And this Deponent further saith
that being misled by the above information and
the want of due Knowledgeofas to the time of
Sessions commencing occasioned him not
taking the necessary Shops for his trying his Traverse
this Session indue time and no other came
whatever
