To wit. To the Constable , Headborough Tythingman,
and other Officer of the Peace of the Parish
of St. Geo Hanr. Square ofin the
County of Middlesex
within the said County to receive
and convey. And to the Church Wardens,
Chapel Wardens , or Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish, Place or Precinct of St. Michael
at Norwich in the County of
Norfolk or either of them to receive and obey

WHEREAS Samuel Clarke< no role > was
apprehended in the Parish of St. Geo. Hanover Square
as a Rogue and Vagabond (videlicet) There found Wandering
and begging
and upon Examination of the said Samuel Clarke< no role >
taken before me upon Oath (which
Examination is hereunto annexed) it doth appear that The place of the
Last legal Settlement of the said Samuel
Clarke is in the Parish of Saint Michael at
Norwich in Norfolk

These are therefore to require you the said Constable, or other Officer,
to convey the said Samuel Clarke< no role >
to the Parish of Westham in Essex that being the first
Parish in the next Precinct, through which he ought to pass
in the direct Way to the said Parish of St. Michael to which
he is to be sent, and to deliver him to the Constable, or
other Officer of such Parish in such next Precinct, together with
this Pass, and the Duplicate of the Examination of the said
Samuel Clarke< no role > taking his Receipt
for the same. And the said Samuel Clarke< no role >
to be thence carried on in like Manner
to the said Parish of Saint Michael
there to be delivered to some Church Warden, Chapel Warden, or Over-
seer of the Poor of the same Parish
to be there provided for according to Law. And you the said Church
Warden, Chapel Warden, or Overseer of the Poor, are hereby required to
receive the said Person, and provide for him as aforesaid. GIVEN
under my Hand and Seal this 30th Day of November
in the Year of our Lord 17 67.
