Hath at this Present Session Exhibited his Petition and appeal Setting forth That by
Indenture bearing date the Twenty Second day of February One thousand Seven
hundred and Sixty Five John Sherwell was bound an apprentice to the Petitioner to
serve him from the date of such Indenture for and during the Term of seven years
That the said John Sherwell< no role >
had frequently misbehaved himself towards the Petitioner
and had many times abscuted himself from the Service of the Petitioner without
the Petitioners Licence or consent That on the Petitioners Complaint for such
misbehaviour the said John Sherwell< no role >
had been committed to the House of Conection
That the Petitioner had lately discovered that he had enlisted himself as a Soldier in
one of his Majestys Marching Regiments now in Jamaica< no role >
and that it was very
improbable the Petitioner will ever have any Service from his said Apprentice and
therefore willing wholly to part with him And thereby praying that the said John,

might be discharged from his said Apprenticeship
to the Petitioner
and for other relief.
