It was about the fifth Day after Sergt Cochran< no role >
had received the accident on his head (which hap
pened on the fiftteenth Day of December) that
I visited him I examined the wound on his head
but coud not discover any fracture or any sign
of anyThe Symptoms of his Illness were very
favourable (considering the Blow was on Ye head) lets
He was taken with a true Pleurisy in his right
side for which I did what I thought best for him
thus Pleurisy began about Eleven Days after I
1st saw him of this Pleurisy I believe He
dyed: at the same time I am of opinion that
the wound on his head contributed to reduce his
strength so as to make him less able to support
himself under his plourisyUpon opening his
Corple I coud not discover yt He Stull was fracture
There was a large Collection of matter in
his right side
