The Information of Thomas Underwood< no role >
touching the Death of Francis Martin< no role > taken and Acknowledged
this 12th. day of April 1756

This Informant saith that about Eleven o'Clock on Friday night last the 9th
Instant a person whose Name he is Since Inform'd is Robert Ogle< no role > come into
the House of the Deceased his Martin and callg for a pint of Wine desired
His Master's Company. That [..] of towards he call'd for another Pint
and continued Drinking it till Three o'Clock in the Morning, that he then
Desried another Pint which he got them, that then his Master
Ordered Him to go to bed which he did

That [..] the next Morning he rose soon after Seven and that he found his
Master and the said Robert Ogle< no role > in the same room where he left them
the night before both fast a sleep. that he awaked them both and
desired his Master to go to bed, that soon afterwards his Master call'd
him and said the Capt desired a Bill that this Informant told
him these was no occasion for a Bill as there was only Three pinter
of Wine but the Captain he said Jusisted upon it that before he
could make a Bill he heard his Master call out Murder Stop him he murdered me and
upon going out of the room to see what was the matter He Says
the said Robert Ogle< no role > with a Hanger in his left hand with which
he made a pass at this Informant which went thro' his Coat
that then this Informant seized him and sured him in a room
till he could call Assistance
