This Indenture Witneseth That Cornelius Edwards< no role > Son of
John Edards< no role > Gardiner of his [..] bury [..] free Will and with
the Further Consent of John dill< no role > [..] Chappel Warden at Kensin [..]
doth put himself Apprentice unto Will [..] on of the parish of
Saint I am [..] Westminster Glazier
to learn his Art and with him after the manner of an Apprentice to serve from the
day of the date hereunder Written unto the full end and
term of Seven Years from thence next ensuing and full [..] to be compleat and en [..]
during whiett Term the said Apprentice his Master faithfully shall or will serve
his Secrets keep his lawful Commands everywhere [..] do lie shall do no [..]
to his said Master nor see it be done of others but to his Power shall let or forth
with five Notice to his said Master- of the same. The Goods of his said Master he shall not waste
nor the same without Licence of him to any give or lend Hurt to his said Master he shall not do
cause or procure to be done he shall neither lay nor sell without his Masters Licence Taverns Inns or
Alehouses he shall not ha [..] At Cards Dice Tables or any other unlawfull Game he shall not play
nor from the service of his said Master
Day nor Night absent himself but in all Things as an honest and faithful Apprentice shall and will do [..] and
behave [..] toward his said Master and all his during all the said term And the said Master in
Consideration of the Sum of Eight pounds paid to him on hand by or wth the said
apprentice of the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge [..] the said Master
the said Apprentice in the Art
Glazier which he now useth shell teach and [..] cause to be caught and instructed
the best way and manner that he can finding and allowing unto the said Apprentice sufficient Meat Drink
Washing Lodging and all other Necessaries during the said Term, Except waring Apparel which the
above named John Edwards< no role > and the above named William Golden< no role > [..]
the and apprentices each of pay an equal Share alike toward it during all the said
Term of Seven years
And for the term Performance of all and every the Covenants and Agreements aforesaid [..] of the said Parties and [..]
himself firmly by these sd Presents In Witness whereof the Parties abovesaid to these Indentures inter
changeably have set their Hands and Seal the Third Day of [..]
in the twenty third Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of
Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and in the Year of our Lord 1749
