Execution of the said Act by enlightenning the Streets in the
Manner herein before mentioned wil greatly contribute to the
Preventing of Murders [..] larys [..] Street Robberys Ficis [..] misdemeanours & [..] and Apprehending and bringing
to Justice Such Robbers murders [..] Robberys and persons comitting misdemeanours and debamkecys and that the omission of Putting the
said Laws in Execution greatly tends to the [..] encouragement &
increase thereof which his Majestys Justices of the peace cannot pre-
vent or discover for want of proper Informations agst: the Persons
makeing default in enlightening the sd Streets [..] 'Tis therefore hereby Order'd thatthe
respective petty Constables and Beadles it be [..] recomended and it hereby recomended to his Majestys Justices of the peace for this City and Liberty that they in their respective parishes require the and they are hereby required to do every night within
