The Examination of Sarah Harris< no role > Widow of William Harris< no role >
taken upon Oath this 16th: day of July 1742

Who saith that her said Husband died about 8 Years ago
And that he was born in the Parish of St. John in the City of Edinburgh
where to the best of this Deponents knowledge and beleif he served Seven
Years Apprentiship to a Watchmaker and never was a yearly hired Servant
or a Housekeeper nor hath this Deponent since his Death been as such
or marryed to any other man than her said late Husband to whom She was
Married upwards of 21 Years ago at St. John's Church in Edinourgh
aforesaid by whom she hath 2 Children now living (Namely) Sarah aged< no role >
upwards of 13 Years who never was an Apprentice nor a Yearly hired
Savant and William< no role > aged upwards of 8 Years and he further
saith not.
