To wit.


To the Constable of the Parish
of St. Margaret in the City of Westmr. in the County
of Middlesex And also to the Governor
or Master of the House of Correction at Tothill
Fields within the said City to receive and convey.
And to the Church-wardens, Chapel-wardens, or
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St.
James in the City of Colchester in the County of
Essex or either of them, to receive and obey.

WHEREAS Alice Dickenson< no role > Wife of John Dickenson< no role >
with her Child Named William< no role > Aged upwards of Nine Year
the lawfull Issue of the said William Dickenson< no role >
apprehended in the said parish of St. Margaret Westmr.
asRogue andVagabond and brought before Me One
of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for this City & Liberty
and upon Examination of the said Alice Dickenson< no role >
taken before me upon Oath, it doth appear, that she is a
Rogue andVagabond within the
True Intent and Meaning of the Statute in that Case made and
provided; and that her last legal Settlement is in the
said Parish of St. James in the City of Clochester

THESE are therefore to require you the said Governor of the House of Corr [..]
at Tothill Fields to convey the said Alice Dickenson< no role > & her sd. Child in the next
direct way to the said parish of St. James in the City
of Calchester in the County of Essex
and there to deliver them to some Church-wardens
Chapel-wardens, or Overseers of the Poor of the same Parish
to be there provided for according to Law; and you the said
Church-wardens, Chapel-wardens, and Overseers of the Poor are
hereby required to receive the said Alice Dickenson< no role > & her sd. Child
and provide for them as aforesaid. GIVEN under My Hand
and Seal this First Day of May in the Year of
our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty two.
