that he this Dept. did on the Fifthday of April Instant
Inquire of ye Wife of Thomas Johnson< no role > of New Bond Street
which sd. Thomas Johnson< no role > in a Material Witness for this
Dept. who was informed by his Sd. wife that the sd Thomas
Johnson was gone into the North of England & won'd not
return again till ye latter End of this Month and this Dopt.
Saith that without the Testimony of the sd. Thomas
Johnson this Dept. can't with Safety Try the Indictmt.
Prferred agt. him by Samuel Perison
