That on the Tenth day of this Instant he this Deponent at the desire
of One Nicholas Barnes< no role > the Prosecutor in this Cause did accompany
him to Carnaby Markett in the said Parish of St: James Westminster
to Enquire there touching the Ability and Circumstances of One Mrs,.
Martha Jones< no role > who as the said Nicholas Barnes< no role > informed this Depont.
had lately Entred into a Recognizance to his Majesty< no role > as Surety for the
personall appearance of the said Daniel Dalavall< no role > at the next
Generall Quarter Sessions of the Peace to be held for the City and
Liberty of Westminster There to try his Traverse on an Indictment.
preferred against him by him the said Nicholas Barnes< no role > , And this Depont:
further Saith that he this Deponent did thereupon Enquire of Severall
of the Inhabitants in and about Carnaby Markett aforesaid touching
the Ability of the said Martha Jones< no role > and was by them informed that
the said Martha Jones< no role > together with her Grandmother and her Sister
have for almost three months last past Inhabitant a New house in the
said Carnaby Markett and they are looked upon as poor persons
and of evil same running in Debt in the Neighbourhood and Che [..]
people and that the said Martha Jones< no role > , her sd. Grandmother and [..]
Sister are by the said Neighbourhood believed to be put into the said house [..]
the Owner [..] to raise the Credit thereof in Order only for Sale and
Not with an Intention to live long there
