All a General Meeting of his Maties Justices of the peace for the City and
Liberty of Westmr. in the County of Middx in the Great roome at the Bell
Taverne in King Street Westmr on thursday the fifteen day of June
in the Seaventh Year of his now Maties reigne Etc for putting in
Execucon his Maties Comands in the Order of Councell of the Eight and
twentieth day of April last for discovery of the Scandalous Clubbs or-
Societies of Young persons< no role > and detecting & Psecuting all Pphanesse
imorality and debanchery therein menconed Signifyed by the Right
Honourable the Lord High Chancellour of Great Brittaine
Agreed and Resolved that it be, and it is recomended & referred to
Leonard Streate< no role > Nathaniell Blackerby< no role > Daniel Combes< no role > , John
Gouson John Leacroft, Francis Sorell< no role > and Richard Newton< no role > Esqr.
Justices of the Peace for this City and Liberty or any three of them to
Meet at Signe of the Duke of Bedford head Taverne in
Southampton Street Covent Garden on Friday the [..] three & twentieth
day of June instant at five of the clock in the afternoon and at Such
other times and places as they Shall think fitt to prepare & draw Up
a Representacon to the Lord High Chancellour of Great Brittaine
of what proceedings have been had and Made by the Justices of the
peace for the Said City and Liberty for putting in Execution the
Said Order of Councill and the discovery and prosecution of the
detestable practises therein Menconed, with their Opinions
thereupon, And the Said Referrees or any three of them are desired
to certifye and return the Draft of Such Representacon to his
Maties Justice of the Peace for this City and Liberty on the first day
of the next Generall Quarter Sessions of the peace to be held for
the Said City and Liberty after dinner to the End the Same May be
then Agreed Upon, and laid before the Said Lord Chancellour all
Such time as Shall be thought Meet.
