To His Majesty's Justices of the Peace assembled in their General
Quarter Session of the Peace held for the Liberty of Westmr
aforesaid.

Memorandum, That on the 23d Day of April
last, Richard Chapman< no role > Pipe maker was brought
before me one of His Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace in and for the
Liberty of Westmr aforesaid, and charged upon the Oath of
Hannah Carter< no role > for profanely Swearing and Cursing
twenty times on the sd. 23d Day of April
last, and was thereof Convicted upon the Oath of Hannah
Carter aforesaid, and in default of distress was
Publickly set in the Stocks for the space of two whole
hours

pursuant to the Act in that Case made and provided. All which I do
hereby Certify, according to the Directions of the said Act. Given un-
der my Hand this, Second Day of July Annoq; Dom. 17 19
