Whereas Mary Wilkins< no role > Single woman was
on the 26th: day of January last past delivered in one
Mary Glass< no role > her Room in Milk Alley in the parish of
St: Ann in the Librtye of Westmr : within the County of Middx
of a Female Bastard Childe which hath been and
is likely to continue Chargeable to the sd parish of St:
Ann We Two of her Majtyes Justices of the peace for
the sd Librtye and County (Quor Unus) and both resideing
in the afore sd parish of St. Ann where the sd Bastard
Childe was born, haveing, upon the Complyant of the
Church: wardens and Overseers: of the poor of the sd
parish of St: Ann taken upon Us the hearing and Examinacon
of the sd Cause, do finde by the Examination of the sd Mary
Wilkins (upon Oath) and other cercumstances and Proofes
That Harvey Wolstenholm< no role > Esqr . is the Reputed Father
of the sd Female Bastard Childe, whereupon we do Order
and Adjudge him the sd Harvey Wolsten holm Esqr . to
be the Reputed Father of the sd Female Bastard Childe
And we do Order that the sd Harvey Wolsten holm the
Reputed Father shall within Six dayes next after Notice
given to him of this our Order pay of cause to be paid
into the hands of the Overseers: of the poor of the sd parish
of St: Ann or to some or one of them the sum of Three
poundsfor and towards the Charges of keeping
and maintaineing of the sd Bastard Childe and other
necessary expences relating thereunto. And shall
alsoe weekly and every week so long as the sd Childe
shall be chargeable to the sd parish pay or cause to
be paid unto the Overseers: of the poor of the sd parish of
St. Ann for the time being or to some or one of them the
sum of Two Shillings & Six pence for and towards the
keeping and Education of the sd. Bastard Childe. And
lastly We do Order that the sd Harvey Wolsten holm
do become bound with Sufficient Security unto the
Overseers of the poor of the sd parish of St: Ann well and
truely to Pform this our Order; or finde Sufficient
Suertyes for his Psonall appearance at the next Genall
Quarter Sessions of the peace to be held for the sd County
then and there to doe and abide such Order as the Court.
