The Minutes of the last Annual General Court held the 25th.
day of July 1809 were read and approved.

The Minutes of the proceedings of the several Meetings of the Grand Committee held
since the 14th. day of JUne. 1809 were also read and approved

Donation & Legacy


The Clerk acquainted the Court that since the last General Court
the following Donation and Legacy had been received Vizt.

Aaron Chapman< no role > Esq. .his Gift £50
Mrs. Jane May< no role > her Legacy £3000

Mr. John Adcock< no role >
Common Council man
appointed a Governor .

The Clerk laid before the Court an order of Common Council dates
the 3d. day of November last received from the Town Clerk appointing Mr.
John Adcock< no role > of the Ward of Lime Street to be one of the Governors of
this Hospital in the Room of Mr. Joseph Alldin< no role > deceased .

Subscriptions were recommended by the Lord Mayor
towards defraying the Great Expences of this Hospital.

Death of Nathl.
Newnham
< no role > Esq. .
President .


The Lord Mayor then acquainted the Court that the
immediate occasion of calling the same was to choose a President in
the Room of Nathaniel Newnham< no role > Esq. . late Alderman and President
of this Hospital who departed this life the 26th. day of December last

Whereupon a motion being made and seconded that Sir
Charles Price< no role > Baronet Alderman and one of the Representatives
of the City of London be chosen President in his room

Resolved Unanimously

Sir Charles Price< no role >
chosen President .


That Sir Charles Price< no role > be chosen President of this Hospital in
the room of Mr. Newnham and the Treasurer is desired to acquaint
him with his Election and request his acceptance of the Office.

Resolved unanimously

That the thanks of this Court be given to the Right Honorable
The Lord Mayor for his impartial and liberal conduct in the
Chair
