The Minutes of the last General Court held the
17th. January last were read & confirmed.

The Clerk acquainted this Court that since the
last General Court there had been the following Donations
from the Governors of this Hospital. Vizt.

George Napier< no role > , Esqr .£50.
Joseph Hodgkin< no role > , Esqr .50.
Mr. John Coape< no role > 50.
George Warren< no role > , Esqr 50.
Thomas Kent< no role > , Esqr .50.

Subscriptions being recommended by
Mr: President towards defraying the great charge & expence
of this Hospital, the following sums were subscribed, Vizt.

Dr . Matthew Clarke< no role > £50.
John Thomlinson< no role > Junr . Esqr .50.

Dr. Addams
Resignation


Mr. President acquainting the Court that
the occasion of calling the same was to choose a Physician to
this Hospital in the room of Dr . Thomas Addams< no role > who has
Resigned.

Dr. Akenside
chose Physician


The Court Proceeded to the Choice of a Physician
in the room of the said Dr. Thomas Addams. and the Petition
of Dr . Mark Akenside< no role > , (who was the only Petitioner) being
read, Praying to be admitted one of the Physicians of this
Hospital in the room of the said Dr. AddamsThe said
Dr. Akenside was unanimously Chosen to the said Place
to hold the same with the usual Salary thereto belonging
During the Pleasure to this Court and he was called in
and acquainted with his Election.

The Place of Assistant Physician being
Vacant by the above Choice. It was moved that another
Assistant
