We having View'd the Seven Houses
at the Corner of Warwick Lane in Pater noster
Row, most of which were Empty & in a very
bad Condition And being of opinion that they
ought to be Rebuilt: Did Order Mr Steere our
Surveyor to take down the sd: Houses in order to
rebuild them.

intended to be built in the same Place according to a
Plan laid before us for 14 years from Chrmas 1745
at £63.- a year

lives in at Hackney
& that next adjoyning with
the Field behind the same (being part of the Pre
misses in Lease to

Expire at Lady day 1750) And the present Tenant
declining to renew the said Lease We took a View of
the sd: Houses & found them much out of Repair;
And apprehending the Hospital Estate might
greatly suffer if the Houses were not Repaired
before the Expiration of the present Lease And
that in the Condition they must then be we should
be obliged to let them upon worse Terms
We, pursuant to the Power given to us by the
General Court. held the 18th of July 1739 for
renewing any Leases of the Hospital Estate
sooner than within three years of the Expiration
of the old Leases Have Granted to the sd:
Mr Lamborn a Lease of the sd: two Houses &
Field for 21 years from Laday 1750 [..] £10. a year
clear Rent & a Fine of 120 Guineas & he to lay out
forthwith £400.- in Repairs
