Navigable Canal from Newbury to Bath called the Ronnell and
Aven Navigation which will poss through a part of the Hospital
Estate at [..] in William attended the Committee for the purpose of
obtaining the consent of the Hospital to such application

be obtained

That the Treasurer be empowered to consent on behalf of the
Hospital to such Application provided the Consent of the Tenants of
the part of the Estate to be affected by such Canal can be obtained

The quantity of
Land to be purchased

Mr. Way laid before the Committee on Agreement entered into
and signed by him on behalf of the Hospital with the Committee of
the Grand Junction Canal Company to abide by the Victuation of John
Woodcock< no role > one of the persons named at Valuers of the Lands to be
purchased for making such Canal and to accept without further
delay or reference to a Jury the S [..] at which the Lands in certain
Common fields on Hillingdon belonging to the Hospital in the
occupation of Thomas Ringman< no role > taken or to be taken for the use of
the Canal its Wharfs or [..] wing paths shall be entered and to
[..] a Conveyance of such Lands when required agreable to the
terms in the printed Proposal proceding such Agreement Mr
Way also reported that the quantity of the Land to be purchased is
£3..0 [..] 29 and that the peice thereofat £80 per
Acre amounts to the Sum of £254.10
