being expired or near expiring Mr Trear is desired to Treat
and Agree with any person or persons for a Lease thereof, or
to cause the same to be advertized in the Courant.

A Letter dated this day, was brought to this Committee
by Mr John Ozell< no role > , from Reginald Marriott< no role > Esqr : the Auditor
of the Accompts of this Hospitall, and Read; whereby the
said Mr Marriott freely resigned his said place to the Governrs:
and humbly Recomended the said Mr Ozell to be his Successor
therein, if the Governors should so please. And the Committee
being of Opinion that the said Mr Ozell is a proper person to
supply the said place, he haveing for many years past acted
under the said Mr Marriott as his Clerke in the Stateing and
settling of the said Accompts, and is thereby well acquainted
with the Method and nature of the same [..] Accompts. He was
thereupon appointed and Chosen to the said place of Auditor
in the Room of the said Mr Marriott, To hold the same with
the usuall Fee or Allowance, dureing the pleasure of the
Grand Committee or the Generall Court of the Governors of
this Hospitall and not otherwise And it is ordered that
this appointment be Reported & Recomended to the next
Generall Court for their Confirmacon.

Mr: Trear reported That pursuant to the Order of the last
Comittee, the Exxcrs: of William Abbott< no role > deced had in due Forme
surrendred the Lease of the Old Bird in hand in St: Thomas's
Parish neare the Gully hole, to the use of the Governours.

And that Mr. Benjamin Kite< no role > had agreed to take a Lease from
the Hospll: of the House with the Sheds & Buildings thereunto
belonging in St: Thomas's parish neare the New way in the Poss [..]
of Ebenezer Willmott< no role > , For 21: Years from Christmas next of £3: P
ann Rent Tax Free, And to pay a Fine of £90:

And that Mr. Nathaniel Smith< no role > had agreed to take a Lease
of the Two Houses & Garden lately held by Mr: Shewitt
upon a Lease which expired to Midsomer last scituate in the
parish of St. Mary Magdalen Bermondsey in surrey, For 26:
Yeares from Michas last (whereby this Lease will expire at the
same time with the Lease already granted to him of a House
Ground next adjoining At the yearly Rent of £16: Tax Free, upon
the Terms Condicons & Agreemt: proposed at the last Comee
