Middlesex

At the General Session of the Peace of our Lord
the King holden in and for the County of Middlesex
at the Session house for the said County (by
adjournment) on Thursday the Twelfth day of
September in the thirty ninth year of the Reign
of our Sovereign Lord George the third King of
Great Britain Etc

Whereas John Parratt< no role > apprentices to William Moulden< no role >
late of the parish of Wellwyn in the County of Herts but now of
Sommers Town in the County of Middlesex Cooper Hath at this present
Session Exhibited his Petition and appeal setting forth That the petitioner
on the fourth day of april on Thousand seven hundred and ninety seven
by and with the consent of his Uncle William Parratt< no role > by Indenture of
that date did put himself apprentice to the said William Moulden< no role > to
learn his Art and with him after the manner of an apprentice to serve
from that day until the full end and term of Six Years: and that his
said Uncle paid the said William Moulden< no role > the Sum of Twenty six
pounds and five shillings as a consideration for his the said William
Moulden
< no role > 's teaching and instructing the Petitioner in the said Art of a
Cooper and for his finding him sufficient next drink Washing Mending
Lodging and all other Necessaries during the said Term (Cloaths exepted )
That at the time the Petitioner so bound himself Apprentice as aforesaid
the said William Moulden carried on the Trade of a Cooper and was in a
very respectable way of business at Wellwyn aforesaid but that in or
about the Month ofthe said William Moulden removed
therefrom and [..] resided at Sommers Town aforesaid That the
said William Moulden< no role > since his Removal as aforesaid hath had
little or no Work to do as a Cooper and that the Petitioner although
he had been upwards of Two Years with his said Master had been
taught little or nothing of his Trade having been only set to make two
Galloon Casks and such small articles. That the Petitioner finding
