MIDDLESEX .


AT the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex ,
at the Session-House for the County, (by adjournment)
on Thursdaythe TenthDay of Januaryin
the Thirty ninthYear of the Reign of our Sovereign
Lord GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain, Etc.

Whereas Richard Murthwaite< no role > Hath at this present Session
Exhibited his petition and Appeal setting forth That He was on the 3d. day of
January 1799 Convicted before Henry James Pye< no role > and Joseph Moser< no role > Esquires use
of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said County of Middlesex upon the Oath of
William Kettle< no role > in the Penalty of Five Pounds for demanding and receiving of the
said William Kettle< no role > One penny as Profit upon Two shillings lent by the Petitioner
upon a pawn of a Waistcoat to the said William Kettle< no role > in the name or under the
description of Mr Catel One penny being more than at the rate of One halfpenny for
the loan of any Sum not exceeding the Sum of Two shillings and six pence by the
Calendar Month including the current month in which the said pawn was received
contrary to the Statute, by which Conviction he conceived himself aggrieved

Whereupon at the request of the said Petitioner It is Ordered that the benefit of his
said Appeal should be saved unto him and the hearing and determining thereof be
and the same is hereby adjourned until the next General Session of the Peace to be
holden for this County and on notice hereof in the mean time to be given unto the said
Henry James Pye< no role > and Joseph Moser< no role > Esquires they and all Persons concerned do attend
the Court at the Session house aforesaid on Thursday the Twenty first day of February
next at the hour of nine in the forenoon of the same day to hear and abide the
judgment and determination of the said Court touching the said Appeal
