further saith that in consequence of his
being under such confinement he was
prevented from attending this Court
pursuant to the condition of the said
recognizance to give Evidance against the
said Elizabeth Briton< no role > for the felony aforesaid
And this Deponent lastly saith that it was
not from said a affection to the said Elizabeth
Briton nor did he his deponent directly or
indirectly receive any fee reward a gratinity
from the said Elizabeth Breton or any other
person a persons whatsoever on her behalf
to induce his not to appear and give
such Evidence against the said Elizabeth
Breton but that the same was solely
occasioned by his aforesaid confinement
and not otherwise
