maketh oath
and saith that a Bill of Indictment for an Assault
was prefered and found by the above named Prosecutor
in December Sessions last held at the New Sessions
House on Clerkenwell Green
in and for the said
County of Middlesex
against this Deponent to which
Bill of Indictment this Deponent hath put in Bail
in the usual Form, And this Deponent further Saith
that he hath endeavored to serve the above named
Prosecutor with a Copy of the Notice hereto annexed
in due time, but could not serve same untill
Thursday Evening last which this Deponent is
informed was not in time, on Account as this
Deponent is informed and verily beleives to be
true that the above named Prosecutor absented
herself so as this Deponent should not be able to
Serve same in time in order to put this Deponent
to every expence possible; this Deponent therefore
hopes this Honorable Court will permit this Deponents
to stand [..] over untill the next Sessions to be
held as aforesaid and that a Notice of Trial
