The Order of The Reverend Millington Buckley and John
Dabrymple
< no role > Esquire two of his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace in and for the said County one whereof is
of the Quorum, and both residing next unto the Limits
of the Parish Church within the Parish of St. Mary le bone
in the said County.

aforesaid, of the Body of

WHEREAS it hath appeared unto us the said Justices, as well upon the Com-
plaint of the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish
as upon the Oath of the said Leticia Clayton< no role >
that she the said Leticia Clayton< no role > on the Twelfth Day of
March 1792 now last past,was delivered of a Male Bastard Child, at the House
No. 17 Oxford Chapel Court in the said Parish in the said
County and that the said Male Bastard Child islikely to bechargeable
to the said Parish and further, that Robert Walters< no role > Butler to
Lady Mary Coke of Mount Street in thesaid Parish of St. George Honour Session did beget the said
Bastard Child on the Body of her the said Leticia Clayton< no role > and Whereas
the said Robert Walters< no role > hath appeared before us in pursuance of our Summons
for that purpose, but hath not shewed any sufficient Cause roky he the said
Robert Walters< no role > shall not be the reputed Father of the said Bastard Child

We therefore, upon Examination of the Cause and Circumstance of the Premises, as
well upon the Oath of the said Leticia Clayton< no role > as otherwise, do hereby
adjudge him the said Robert Walters< no role > to be the reputed Father of the
said Bastard Child.

And thereupon we do order, as well for the better Relief of the said Parish of
St. Mary le bone as for the Sustentation and Relief of the said Bastard Child, that
the said Robert Walters< no role > shall and do forthwith, upon Notice of this our Order,
pay of cause to be paid to the said Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of Mary le bone or to some or one of them, the Sum of Two Shillings & Six pence
for and towards the Lying-in of the said Leticia Clayton< no role > and the Main-
tenance of the said Bastard Child, to the Time of making this our Order.

And we do also hereby further order, that the said Robert Walter< no role > shall likewise
pay, or cause to be paid, to the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish for the Time being, or to some or one of them, the Sum of Two
Shillings & Six pence Weekly and every Week, from the present Time, for and towards the
Keeping, Sustentation, and Maintenance of the said Bastard Child, for and during
so long Time as the said Bastard Child shall be chargeable to the said Parish of St. Mary le bone

And we do further order, that the said Leticia Clayton< no role > shall also pay
or cause to be paid to the said Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish for the Time being, or to some or one of them, the Sum of One
Shillings & Six pence Weekly and every Week, so long as the said Bastard Child
shall be chargeable to said Parish of St. Mary le Bone in case she shall not nurse
and take care of the said Child herself.
