and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Giles
in the Fields

Sheweth
That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under
the Hands and Seals of J. Hole and
Wm. Brodie< no role >
Esquires
two of His Majestys Justices of the Peace
acting in and
for the County of Middlesex
(one whereof being of the
Quorum) bearing date the twenty seventh day of May
1797
Alexander Clark< no role >
(Widower) with his two
Children namely
William< no role >
aged about ten years and
Alexander< no role >
aged about five years were removed and
Conveyed from and out of the Parish of Saint Mary
Islington
in the said County to the said Parish of St. Giles on
the Fields
as the Place of their last legal Settlement whereby
your Petitioners conceived themselves to be aggreived.
Your Petitioners therefore humbly appeal to this
Court against the adjudication of the said two
Justices and their said Order and Pray that
your Worships will be pleased to appoint a
day for the hearing and determining the
said appeal.
