At the GeneralSession of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the
County of Middlesex , at the Session-House for the said
County, () on Monday
the Twelfth Day of September
in the Thirty sixth Year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the Third, King of Great
Britain, Etc. Before William Mainwaring< no role > , William
Bleamire
< no role > , David Dean< no role > ; John Hole< no role >
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of the our said
Lord the King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County
aforesaid: and also to hear determine divers
Felonies, Trespasses, and other Misdemeanours com-
mitted in the same County.

WHEREAS the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
Marylebone int he said County Have at this present Session Exhibited their
petition and appeal setting forth That by virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant
under the Hands and Seals of William Tyler< no role > and R. Johnson Esquires two of His
Majestys Justices of the Peace acting in and for the said County bearing date the
27th. day of July 1796 Frances Horton< no role > aged near Five years and Mary Horton< no role >
aged near three years Orphan Children were removed and conveyed from and out
of the parish of Saint James within the Liberty of Westminster in the said County to
the said Parish of Saint Marylebone as the place of their last legal settlement
whereby the petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved

NOW, upon hearing the said Appeal, and what hath been alledged by the respective
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parishes, their Counsel and Witnesses in
and concerning the Premises, IT IS ORDERED, that the said Appeal be, and the same is
hereby allowed, and the said Order of the said two Justices is hereby vacated and set aside:
and IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Saint Marylebone do forthwith convey and
deliver back the said Frances Horton< no role > and Mary Horton< no role >
(together with a Copy of this Order) unto the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Saint James Westminster who are hereby required to
receive and provide for the said Frances Horton< no role > and Mary Horton< no role >
until they can free themselves from the Charge thereof by due course of Law.
