I beg pardon for troubling you with these few
Lines, but as I think, that Mr McIntosh's is a Hard case,
& he having applied to me, to solicite your Countenance
to forward His Petition praying an Addition to his
former Price for Hating The Prison in Cold Bath Fields
wherein he to likly on account of the Rise of Slate at
that time to be a very great suffered; I hope will plead
a Sufficient Excuse of it you can by any means afford
him any relief I shall Esteem if an obligation
