Sheweth
That by virtue of an Order of Pass
Warrant under the hands and Seals of Ricd Davies< no role >
Esquire and Henry Reynett< no role >
Doctor in Divinity
two
of His Majesty's Justices of the peace
for the County
of Middlesex
(where of one is of the Quorum) bearing
Date the 22d. day of March 1796. James Joseph Grigstone< no role >
lawful Son of Joseph Grigstone< no role >
Deceased was
removed and conveyed from the Parish of Saint
John of Wapping
in the County of Middx unto
the said Parish of Milton next Gravesend
in the
County of Kent
Alledging the said Parish of Milton
next Gravesend
to be the place of his last legal
settlement.
That Your Petitioner conceived
themselves of be aggrieved by the said
Warrant or Order of the said two
Justices to therefore Appeal to Your
Worships therefrom and humbly pray
that you will be pleased to hear
them in the Premises and Order
that the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the poor of the said Parish of Saint
John of Wapping
in the County of
Middx
may appear before you at a
certain day to be appointed to hear &
abide the judgment & determination of
your Worships touching the Appeal.
And Your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc.
