MIDDLESEX .


AT the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in ana for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session-House for the said County, ()
on Monday the Eleventh Day of January in
the Thirty sixthYear of the Reign of our Sovereign
Lord GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain, Etc. Before
William Mainwaring< no role > , Rupert Clarke< no role > , William Bleamire< no role >
David Dean< no role >
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our said Lord the
King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid; and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Trespasses, and other
Misdemeanours committed in the same County.

Whereas the Churchwarden and Overseers of the poor of the parish of Lewisham in the County of
Kent did at the last General Quarter Session of the peace held in and for this County Exhibit their
Petition and Appeal setting forth That by a certain Order of Removal or Pass Warrant bearing date the
22d. day of September now last past under the Hands and Seals of Paul Pechell< no role > Esqr. & W Heckford Esqr
two of this Majestys Justices of the peace in and for the said County of Middlesex one whereof being of
the Quorum Mary Russell< no role > the Widow of William Russell< no role > late of the Hamlet of Sydenham in the parish
of Lewisham in the said County of Kent deced was removed from and out of the parish of Twickenham
in the said County of Middlesex to the said parish of Lewisham in the said County of Kent as the
place of her last legal settlement whereby the petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved which
said Appeal stood duly adjourned until this Session. Now the said appeal coming on to be heard
It is Ordered at the request of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said parish of
Twickenham and by and with the consent of the Churchwarden and Overseers of the poor of the said
parish of Lewisham ) that the said Order of the said two Justices be and the same is hereby Quashed
and It is further Ordered that the Churchwarden and Overseers of the poor of the said parish of
Lewisham do forthwith convey and deliver back the said Mary Russell< no role > together with a Copy of this
Order) unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of Twickenham who are
hereby required to receive and provide for the said Mary Russell< no role > until they can free themselves from
the Charge thereof by due course of Law.
