A Petition having been presented to his Ma-
jesty's Justices of the Peace for the county of Middle-
sex , in sessions Assembled, praying the court to fet, regulate,
and order the wages and prices of the Journeymen Weavers
within the said county, in the said branch of the silk
manufacture, called the Toilet Gauze, It is ordered, that
the said petition be taken into consideration on Saturday next,
the 18th day of April inst. at the hour of ten in the fore-
noon; and that in the mean time an advertisement be insert-
ed in three of the public newspapers, to the Intent that all
Matters and Journeymen in that branch of the silk manu-
facture called the Toilet Gauze, have notice thereof.

At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Lord the
King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at the
session House for the Said County, (by Adjournment) on
Tuesday, the Fourteenth Day of April infant, in the
thirty- fifth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
George the Third, King of Great Britain, & c.

To MASTERS and JOURNEYMAN WEAVERS in that
Branch of that Silk Manufacture, called ORRICE
WEAVING

A Petition having been presented to his Ma-
jesty's Justices of the Peace , for the County of Mid-
dle taken place in the manufactureing of [..]
the branch of Orrice Weavering, both in respect of the fineness
of the Shot as well as the width of the several articles whereby
the labour of the manufacturer is much increased, and no
provision or adequate compensation made them for such addi-
tional labour, and praying the Court to settle, regulate, and
order the Wages and Prices of the Journeymen working
within the said County, in the said branch. It is Ordered,
That the said Petition be taken into consider on Saturday next,
the 18th day of April Instant, at the hour of ten in the fore-
noon, and that in the mean time an advetisement be inserted
in three of the Public Newspapers, to the intent that all
Masters and Journeymen in that branch of the Silk Manufac-
ture, called Orrice Weaving ,have notice thereof.

ARCHER'S IRISH POPLIN and TABBI-
NET WAREHOUSE, Henrietta Street, Covent-Gar-
den . The Executors of the late Mr. EDWARD ARCHER
have the honour to inform the Nobility and Centry, that there
is now reacy in the Warehouse for their Infection, a new
Assortment of the DEMISAISON POHLINS, prepared particu-
larly for the present Spring under the direction of C, Cary
For their light,rich,and elegont appearence, they claim a su-
periorty over most other Manufacturer, in all kinde of La-
dies Dresses, which is fully evinced by the distinguished ap-
probation they are daily receiving from the first Personages in
the Kingdom

Being particularly anxious that every article should give sa-
tisfaction, they will exchange; or (if more agreeable) return the
money for any Goods that should not be fully approved, by
which Ladies at any distance may purchase witst the same ad-
vantage as if residing in London.

For the convenience of Families going into Mourning, the
Warehouse is constantly supplied with a large Assortment of
Bombazrens and Bombazets of differtent prices; a variety of
Black Poplins. Tabbinets. Luteferings, Artnoxeens, Widows
Silks , and different shades of black and Grey Fancy Poplins
for flight Mournings.

[mark] The Lowest ready money price is marked on each place
in plain figures, and from which no abatement is ever made.

A Variety of Shaw in the heatest pattern, equal to any
manufactured in this country.

A General Meeting of the Governors of this
Charity will be holden at the Dispensary, an Wednes-
day, the 22nd day of April instant, at nine o'clock in the
forenoon, to proceed to the Election of a Collector, in the
room of Mr. Jacks, resigned, AND NOT ON THE 15 TH IN-
STANT, AS BEFORE ADVERTISED. The Election to be by
Ballot, to commence at Ten, and close at Four o'Clock pre-
cisely. Proxies of Governors to be admitted; and such new
Governors only to be entileled to vote, who shall have paid
their subscriptions in to the hands of the Right Honourable

Six o'clock in the evening of Tuesday, the 21st instant.

PROPOSALS for LIGHTING the STREETS.

Paying Office, Dublin.

THE Directors and Commissioners will re-
ceive Proposals for Lighting the Public Lamps and
Globes in this City, and Keeping the same and the Fur-
niture thereof clean and in good order, from the 1st of Sep-
tember next, for one, two, or three Years, as shall be agreed
upon, the Globes to have a double Busher, and it is their in-
[..] to have a [..] contract for each side of the
River.

Proposals to be sent to his this Office on or before the 30th
[..] of June Next, [..] Lighting; which will
be opened in the Presence of the Proposer or his Representa-
ive, at One o'clock on the said Day, after which Day no
Proposal will be received.
